PortaSauna Wins Start-Up of the Year at the Portsmouth Business Awards

What. A. Night.

We’re still buzzing with excitement after being named Start-Up of the Year at the Portsmouth Business Excellence Awards 2025. Honestly, we’re struggling to put it into words (which, if you know us, is saying something).

Held at the iconic Portsmouth Guildhall, the awards night was all about celebrating the incredible businesses shaping our city and to be named the best new business among such a talented pool? We're blown away.

From an Idea to an Award-Winning Brand 

This time last year, PortaSauna was just a vision. An idea sparked from a love of sauna culture, outdoor adventures, and a bit of a rebellious streak that asked, “Why can’t we bring proper sauna heat to the great outdoors?”

We spent months designing, testing, tweaking, building (and rebuilding), all to bring our dream of a portable, wood-fired sauna to life. The mission? To make authentic sauna experiences accessible, adventurous, and rooted in nature—for everyone.

Fast forward to now, and we’re honoured to have been recognised for the progress we’ve made. It’s not just about products (though we’re proud of every tent, stove and sauna stone), it’s about creating a movement. One that helps people reconnect, with the outdoors, with others, and most importantly, with themselves.
